I'm an engineer at IBM where I currently lead UI teams in building, designing, and architecting the frontend experiences for software products in the Edge computing and Telecom industry space.
I am a big proponent of interface driven design and constantly strive to foster close collaboration between teams in order to reduce friction and increase developer productivity.
I am also a big fan of Typescript and Javascript in general and am currently working with a stack primarily comprised of GraphQL, NodeJS, and ReactJS. Recently, I have been interested in working more with Golang and Rust. I have a preference for type-safe languages, as they have the ability to catch mistakes at compile time as well as reduce cognitive overhead for developers.
My favorite movie is Interstellar. My favorite book is Dune but I also love anything by Isaac Asimov, especially the Foundation series. I also enjoy photography, cars, electronic music, and coffee brewed with a Chemex
